I was recently laid off from a management consulting firm. I am aggressively pursuing job opps in the same field. However, given market conditions, I realize finding a new job will take some time. I have some spare time and wanted to know if anyone has any ideas of short-term/temp (2-3 months) "projects" I can pursue while I continue my job search. (Obviously this excludes your run-of-the-mill temp jobs. I'm talking about something that has real value...some sort of community service thing maybe...)
