I recently received offers from Monitor, Accenture (strategy), and Marakon Associates (a boutique). I was hoping for some opinions as to the pros and cons: in particular the project work quality and exposure for a person coming straight out from undergrad at each place, the amount of interaction with partners, and the path they allow to b-school.
I was also wondering about the perception of Accenture's strategy practice.

Marakon focuses primarily on Value based management. They get inside an org'n and beaver away for years like moonies trying to unlock value. If you have a choice b/w Accenture and Monitor, I'd probably go with Monitor. Accenture is a Big 5 firm and is not perceived by CEOs for their strategy expertise. Accenture's forte is large scale systems implementation which have got them into a lot of trouble for screwing companies into bankruptcy (Best Buy, Mars, etc...). And by the way, be realisitic, don't expect to be briefing the CEO. Really!!!
