I am in the lucky situation to have job offers from both McKinsey and BCG, but I have a hard time making up my mind on which to reject.
I can see that this topic has been discussed numerous times on this board, but since I am still in doubt after having read the many messages posted, I hope that there are somebody reading this that give me some good advice.
I am graduating with a non-business Master's degree and am being offered an Associate position at BCG and a Junior Associate position at McKinsey. The way I see it the jobs I have been offered are pretty similar. The only real difference is that BCG offer me about 15000$ more in total first year compensation. However, people tell me that McKinsey make up for that by offering a steeper pay- and learning curve as well as a better brand name. Is that true? I greatly appreciate any advice that can make the decision.
