I am a top graduate with a BS in Marketing (3.6) and MBA (4.0) from a small regional university. The university has been recognized for its commitment to integrating technology in classes and providing a practical yet quantitative education equaling well known univeristies. However, only regional companies recruit from the school and big five consulting firms have never heard of it. I have three years of experience in technology and marketing positions and am currently an applications developer in a support department of a Fortune 500. I would like some advice on opening consulting oppotunities in e-commerce, ERP and process consulting. I feel that my resume portrays diversity, success, and analytical abilities, yet consulting firms have yet to respond to any inquiries. Any contacts or info is appreciated. By the way keep the arrogant and thoughtless responses posted elsewhere on vault to yourself.
