Message: If you want to go to a firm with 400% turnover, senior executives that yell and scream at everyone (and I am not exagerating), billable hours being the number one focus-no matter what the clients needs are, salary based on 100% billable hours and a firm unable to provide full engagements with a policy that says if you don't work a 50 hour week (5 full days) you have to work the weekend (no matter that they couldn't supply you with the full week of work) at engagements that are always out of town (You will travel by plane and car most nights, but you do get to keep your frequent flier miles, whoopee), no vacation, just unpaid leave (you can use all your frequent flyer miles at that time) You have to buy your own computer, even though you'll be told you don't need one, as the "secretary pool" that retired in the 50's will type all your reports (which are all required to be typed). Follow that up with battles over expenses every two weeks and it makes the $55,000/year all seem worthwhile. Of course in ~4 months you'll qualify for project director where you will travel even more, get home once a month if your lucky, and be promised ~$120,000/year which won't happen anytime soon, with the realistic number being about $70K. Poor George S. May, God rest his soul, must be turning over in his grave watching what these jerks have done to his once respectable company.
