I am an executive recruiter with Pedley-Richard & Associates in Austin Texas. I am recruiting experienced Technical Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and Software Consultants. Our client is a market leader in the development and deployment of world class systems performance software tools for client/server and mainframe environments. The consistent high quality of their products and services, their extraordinary work environment, and eight record-breaking quarters of profitability distinguish them from the competition.
Technical Project Managers are the business AND technical contacts at customer sites. They lead, facilitate, define, and document the implementation process with the customer to translate the technology into business requirements and specifications. They manage PSL programmers and perform a programming roles as needed.
We are seeking strong technical professionals with 4+ years experience and a College Degree in MIS or CS or equivalent experience (consulting experience is a plus) The ability to lead and facilitate customer meetings on both a business and technical level is important,. Technical skills needed are: knowledge of Structured Programming Language(s) (C/C++, Perl, Fortran, Cobol or equivalent (not VB only)) NT or UNIX operating systems, and some experience with a Database such as Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, or Informix. These positions will require 80% domestic travel, returning home every weekend. Preferred location is Houston, but location near a major airport and willingness to home office is also acceptable.
