34 mil revenue is way too low for a company with 500-700 people and its revenue per consultant is atrocious. these are key financials. are you a risk taker? if so, go for emerald. if you cannot stand the thought of nor sustain being laid off in a couple months, go to a larger more established firm. you must weigh the risks and see if YOu are willing to take them. |

I forgot that 34 million is their 1999 number when they had 450 people. But the revenue is still pretty low. I don't know their 200 revunue. I heard they are trying to break even this quarter. Just heard that they laid off some people with peoplesoft skills that they don't need any more,but they never laid off strategy people.
Yes, risk is my biggest concern. The atraction is I really like strategy. But didn't get to bain or Mc. Big 5 usually don't use undergrade in strategy. Only choice would be work in whatever for 3 years and get an MBA.
