i think emerald is in the same position as other net consultancies. they are aligning their vertical expertise for the long haul and getting "sales pitch" together to differentiate their offering from other companies. if you look at the company's history, they've only been around for 4 years and have done really well, despite the economy. people don't know emerald because they want it that way.
you could say their a little like transmeta, an unknown company for awhile, but with great potential for the future. |

I am not concerned about that they are not famous. But I can't get enough info on them 'couse they are private.
Most of inter-net consultancies start 3-4 years ago. I don't know their cash and fiancial position. I guess I am concerned about the industry as a whole. They expand too quickly and then have to go downsize. I heard most of lay-off at scient are new hires from couple months ago.
By the way, I truly appreciate your response.
