I just started my first year of residency in NYC. I've come to the conclusion that I need to get out of medicine. Can anyone give me advice on how I can get into consulting? May be investment banking. Just anything that gets me out of doing rectal exams. |

make sure you want to leave medicine for the right reasons. consulting's a nice place to start your career but think HARD about it. are you really sure? do you haev friends who are consultants? since they know you, they can give you the best advice. for some strange reason, i;m getting the feeling like you're not thinkign this through completely. just a feeling.
