If you're at McKinsey and leave for a 4th tier investment bank you're nuts. With McKinsey you're guaranteed to get into any b-school you'd ever want to attend and get you any job you'd ever want to get when you're through with them. Stay w/ consulting. If it were Goldman then you might want to consider moving, but I mean come on HSBC?
