If you want to do strat work, go to Monitor. Kearney's bread and butter is their operations, although they do some strat work as well. The culture at both firms is very good - down to earth, intelligent people. |

SPot on for the operations vs. strategy assessment. I personally find the strategy work more exciting, and much more intellectually stimulating. It is pretty typical for operations firms (accenture, PWC, ATK) to offer more money than the pure strategy players.
ATK and Monitor are vastly different companies in terms of work, focus, size, and direction they're moving in.
