Alright, here's my situation:
I'm an undergraduate student at a school that is at the bottom of the top 25 for both computer engineering and business (which i'm double majoring in), and I'm interested in pursuing strategy consulting. However, getting a summer job at McKinsey, Bain, and/or BCG seems to be a little out of reach (correct me if I'm wrong please). Therefore, I'm trying to get a summer internship that will hopefully provide valuable experience and will assist me in obtaining a job with one of these firms upon graduation. I have leads at BAH, Accenture, and PWC that I can work into internships, but I'm not too sure which one would provide the best experience. Provided that I can manage to pull off a strategy internship, which of the above companies will provide the best experience (and also, what will look the best if I eventually go for a job w/ a different firm)? Also, if I cannot get a job in the strategy departments, but I can get one in the IT departments of the above places, which would be the best? Thanks in advance! |
