Looking for a little networking opportunity. I'm getting a bit discouraged in my job search because of the poor networking relations of St. Ed's with recruiters and alum. And large consulting firms seem to limit most of their recruiting to on-campus or through networking. I really want to work in consulting. I know I am qualified and am determined to get into this field. Anyone from a small school that can give me insight on how they got in (or inspiration :) )? Thanks in advance for your help! |

...I utilized whatever contacts my university's career services had, did a lot of research, and worked really hard to find internships and take classes that would impress "the big 5." It totally paid off, although at times it is frustrating to send applications and resumes while being told that "only ivy league need apply."
