1) Get the feedback from McK (it might be uncomfortable, but policy is to be totally honest with rejected candidates).
2) If relevant, try again in a few years.
3) Apply to the other strat houses (who do the same-ish things and are pretty great in their own right): BCG, Bain, Mercer, Monitor, Booz, ATK.
Could be that you have all the right stuff to be a consultant and just weren't the right fit for McK, but are the perfect fit for, say, Bain. Remember to do your homework on the culture and the industries/work that each of these different firms do! |

Amsterdam. You are too kind! Thanks very much for the advice. I will start contacting some of the other firms that you recommended.
Do you have any ideas concerning the timing of their recruiting cycles. Is it now too late for this year?.....divot
