Does anyone know of any smaller (30-100 employees or so) strategic consulting firms that have a Fortune 500 client list?
I'm interested in doing strategic consulting, but I don't want to go to one of the big firms and be a grunt on the bottom of the food chain. I'd like to lead project teams, as I have done in the past.

I don't know why you think you won't be a grunt at one of the small strat houses, they need people to do the analysis just as the big boys do. Here's the dope though: Parthenon, Marakon, Dean and Company, Cambridge Strategy Partners, Treacey and Company, just off the top of my head.
