The last poster was right about Booz in DC. It is mostly federal government consulting work, where Booz completely dominates competitors like Accenture and PwC, but where it won't do you any good if you're looking to consult in the private sector. |

PwC's strategy practice is huge and growing, ranked third overall. The thought leadership in the best-selling Metacapitalism and PwC's work in e-markets is unparalleled.
That said, the DC office of PwC is also heavily geared towards work with the federal government.
In terms of general reputation, Booz is considered more of a pure strat firm, whereas Accenture and PwC are more process/systems oriented.
