Hi,
I was interested in a career in compensation consulting. I know the main players are Towers Perrin, William Mercer, Buck and Watson Wyatt.
Can anyone answer these questions:
(1) What kind of candidates do they seek?
(2) What's the workload like (in terms of hours & travel)
(3) What is the entry level pay.
My situation:
I have a MBA & Masters tax (but not from big schools). I have experience in a regional accounting firm dealing with taxation of high net worth individuals. Therefore, I have addressed the taxation of benefits, stock options & deferred comp.
