I would argue that companies like AC and DC are more prestigious in the general consulting world. In terms of strategy, Mck/Bcg crowd is more reputable. It's comparing apples and oranges yet they are all prof services firms |

AC and DC are more prestigious? No way. You may be able to argue that the "big-5" offer a better work life balance or the opportunity to branch out more in future as they are bigger firms. But, in terms of straight management consultancy they don't come close to BAH and ATK, let alone BCG et al.
