The firms described in the message above are commonly described in the industry as the "Big Five" strategy firms due to the fact that the all are, or were, parts of the "Big Five" accounting firms. But they're certainly not considered to be more prestigious than the McKinsey, Monitor, BCG crowd. |

I would argue that companies like AC and DC are more prestigious in the general consulting world. In terms of strategy, Mck/Bcg crowd is more reputable. It's comparing apples and oranges yet they are all prof services firms
