im an ivy league graduate with a non-business related degree (a science). fortunately, i got a job at a great strat-firm... but i was wondering if there's a disadvantage to those apply to B-School without a degree in business administration, management, etc. and what are some of the things i can do to make myself more attractive to the top-tier schools? |

don't worry, you are in a good position, and don't think the non-background precludes you from getting into top schools...it won't. in fact, your background may be even more attractive to those schools..look at at the breakdown of undergraduate majors at top b-schools..you will see many with biological/physical science backgrounds....i had science background too(pre-med), got into healthcare consulting several years back, and will stay, sans MBA.
