Being an IT guy for over 10 years it amuses me when I read his postings.
If he works for BCG or McK. may not matter but he offers points.
He is communicating the mindset that exists at these firms and other american businesses.
However, he is wrong that a company like BCG or McK won't talk to IT types because they are hungry for this skill but I am not sure what they have in store for them once hired w/o MBAs from H,S,W,K schools.
I must say that techies perception that MBA types are all fluff and no substance- almost like Anderson of old. But the fact of matters is MBA types run the show that is why some of the tech firms are mediocre. I know a few major ones they were run to the ground by guys from bschools because they couldn't tell difference between working at a Cola co and a computer co. etc.
