I am currently an assistant project manager for a mid-size construction firm and am interested in obtaining an MBA. I would like to know what others think of MBA's in the construction industry. Are they worth it? What advantages do they provide? What construction positions do MBA graduates typically hold? What are the salary/career path benefits of having an MBA in the construction industry? What other career paths would be open to one with an MBA and a construction/civil engineering background? Also, what MBA programs provide a focus on construction project management or would be better suited to one in the construction industry? Any advice, opinion, or discussion would be appreciated.
