Yes, showing confidence is the ticket. Assuming that you don't say anything blatantly asinine, you'll make it. If you get invited to the office interview then you got the job.
Andersen is not a strategy firm. I don't know the specifics in Australia but in the States the overwhelming majority of their work is IT. Although strategy folks will tell you how great a practice they have, their work will mostly equate to selling systems work.
Andersen's work can be summed up as: " if the only tool you have is a hammer all problems will look like nails!"
If strategy is what you aim for, Andersen is NOT the place for you, unless you're willing to settle for the name without actually getting to do much strat work.
As an aside: having Andersen in your resume will make you atractive to other IT joints, not to Strat firms!
