Hello, I am in my final year of undergrad (economics at mcgill university) and have worked in a start-up for a year (part time during school, did strategy dev full time in summer). I would like to get into e-strategy consulting. What is the best way to do this? Should I be looking at places like @mck or target strictly e-strat places. if it is places like mck, atk, bcg, etc should i go through on campus recruitment or contact the divisions themselves? any and all advice would be appreciated. you can email me at msriva@po-box.mcgill.ca |

Try to get into a tier one consulting practice, they will love you as they are really trying to ward off the big five in the e-strat arena. Your best bet would be to go through recruitment (most should come to McGill), if not, then try cold calling the directors of the various practices and 'do the old song and dance'. Good luck.
