In Reply To: I interviewed with them in the SF office. The are a bunch of ex Deloitte IT guys. They are growing in size as they accumulate clients. The partner i met didn't really sell me on the company very well. I wasn't that impressed. Though, i've never done IT consulting so i didn't really understand what he was getting at.My sense is that it may not be a place to start your consuting career, especially since they are a startup consulting firm and are very much trying to figure themselves out.
Message: Eddieboynow, I interviewed with them for an assocaite position through their MBA recruiting program, and was really impressed. I question if you really interviewed at Archstone, because they are the NOT an IT consulting firm. They are strategy, management, and operations. They have no IT consulting agenda or plans to enter that market. If you even bothered to read the website, you would see they do not do IT consulting. I ended up talking an offer with another consulting firm. While I think the opportunity with Archstone was an excellent opportunity, I wanted to move closer to home, and Archstone doesn't have office in that area. I ended up at the firm that I accepted my offer with b/c they had more locations, and the offer was slightly more generous. Not to say that Archstone wasn't in the right ballpark, but the other firm's relocation and sign-on were more what i needed to move back home. StanGSBConsult
