Make short, sweet answers to background questions and move things along. This is not an area to dwell on. Basically you are a fresh college grad. Concentrate on the cases.
If you can tell from research (website, people) that it is the norm for people at this company to go back to MBA school, that is fine. If not, I would not mention your MBA plans. 2-3 years out is a long way anyway. Who knows, maybe you will be very successful and not even want/need MBA school. |

Practice cases, be up-to-date on the major business news items and read (skim) two books - 'Creating Shareholder Value' by Alfred Rappaport and 'The Innovators Solution' by Christensen and Raynor. Having been in applied sciences and now management consulting, I have learned there are some things every good consultant should know - where value can be created, how to think about strategy (Porter) and how to think about disruptions are a few of them.
