Hi, I am interested in getting recuirted/hired at one of the Top 5 MC firms. I attend top 10-Engineering School (UG). Major in Industrial Operations Engineering. Focus (Financial Engineering) Interest: Consulting
My problem: I've had to work my way through school. Non-traditional timeline. Numerous quant/analyst (Full time) 40+/week positions in shaky energy trading companies = three layoffs. :(
Thank you Enron!!

*Excellent* Leadership (Local & National); impressive professional positions: Good breadth of industries - Network Management, Commodities Trading, Operations Strategy, Energy, Hospital Project Management (Pushing 5 years total exp.); score well on standardized tests; Numerous, in-depth contacts with good potential references in influential positions; Major GPA (3.6/3.7) much better than overall.

Overall grades not great. More technical than business. Worked full time at same time I went to school full time = Resume dates are *all* over the place. Couple of withdrawn semesters b/c finances weren??t right. Non-traditional Timeline. Layoffs/Companies out of business = hard to find first hand references.
Current Resume is 2 pages. (Regularly edited version of highlights of me)??but want it to still be shortened w/o losing positives??.
Need to know how to package this best to get past flags before I get dinged prematurely. Is it impossible? Any advice anyone?
