Retake the GMAT and study for it (buy study books, take a class)... you will be surprised how much you can pop your scrore by studying! That score is low for NYU, no doubt...albiet the part-time programs tend to not view GMAT as being quite as important as full-time programs do. You have nothing to lose by applying... if you right good essays and interview and do well you might have a shot, not a good one though. Like I said though, study hard for the GMAT, re-take it, and reapply.
