I was accepted into the Econ/Math program at NYU Arts & Sciences but I am also considering the accounting program at Pace's business school. Studying in accounting or finance at NYU is not an option for me since I was not accpeted into Stern. Can anyone comment on either of the programs? I am pondering on a career in investment banking or in one of the Big Five. If I do not major in accounting, will I not be considered for an entry-level auditing or accounting position? Do the Big Five hire economics majors for accounting or corp fin positions? I welcome any insight from NYU or Pace alums.
