In Reply To: I think the cost of a Princeton Review prep course or private lesson will depend on where you are in the world. Why don't you ring them up and ask for updated info? You can also check out their website. If you can't take the course for financial reasons or time constraint, I recommend that you buy the "Cracking the GMAT 2000 with CD-ROM". Princeton has recently published two more books called "GMAT Verbal Workout" and "GMAT Math Workout" which are also worth checking if you want to focus on one specific section of the exam. Since you've scored below 600, I believe that you need to improve on both sections of the test. Finally, if you want to practice more questions, I recommend that you buy ETS's Official Guide for GMAT Review. It has hundreds of questions that appeared in previous exams with answer explanations. P.S.: I don't work for neither Princeton Review nor ETS!
Message: Thanks to everyone for the advice. I still believe I can achieve a high score on the GMAT--with my practice test performance as proof, but I still have one more question. If I am to take the GMAT for what I believe to be an unprecedented 4th time, how will top b-schools look at this? Will they merely average my scores together or just look at my top score? Also, does ETS average the scores after three takes, send only your highest score, or would they send all four. Thanks again for everyone's time.
