Message: first, i want to say THANK YOU to everyone for your input. sounds like a consensus - REtake the GMAT. i just have ALWAYS really sucked at standardized tests. my SAT score was 1150 (second try) but got into undergrad institute whose average was 1250. i DID study for the GMAT (1-2 months solid) but it obviously wasn't effective. i previously used princeton review's class but perhaps kaplan will work better. any suggestions? which is better or are they the same? in answer to your question...my undergrad was a BA in economics. to graduate, i did my thesis on development and labor economics issues similar to those tackled by amartya sen. my quantitative abilities include programming in SAS, FAME, and other statistical languages, structuring municipal bonds using Lotus, Excel (optimization models), and DBC Finance. BTW i'm a 26 year old, asian female, raised in texas.
