Okay so everyone is against me. I too got into Tuck but decided to go to Wharton.
Tuck was just a little too weird. Everyone I've ever met who went to the school claims to have loved it. I mean everyone. It's just a little bit strange. I don't know if anyone else noticed this or what they think of it, but to use Mike's words (see 1st post on this string) it is in fact eerie.
As for the changes to the curriculum I wasn't aware of them. I still stick to my guns however that Tuck is a small school and I really believe it's going to be the big schools that compete on name and reputation going forward.
Perhaps I'm wrong. There's also the thing about the guys in the woods but that might just be my own bias. Anyways Tuck is okay but my essential point is that if you can get in there you probably also have a shot at a top 5 school so should give that a chance. After all Tuck is barely top 10 in Business Week, something like 12th US News and 15th in the new FT rankings. If I'm blowing $100k on school I want to go somewhere that's not in a ratings free fall.

I seriously considered going to Tuck. It was the only other school I applied to. What attracted me was its reputation for being laid-back yet rigorous and its strong sense of community.
However, I decided against it because of its slip in the rankings in recent years which made me worry about the long-term value of my MBA. However, I have friends there, and they are all very happy (much happier than my friends at Harvard). If you don't care about rankings and the isolated location, Tuck is a great education.
