In Reply To: I too know people in MSc EC and FIN who only have analyst offers and I know some who have associate offers. Most poeple I know in the programme have had very very good success in finding a job (McKinsey, Goldman, WDR, IMF to name a few). But they are American, looking for jobs in America. On Wall Street an MSc from LSE is much, much, much more appealing than an LBS MBA. The bottom line is this: if you are getting an MSc, the best place in Europe (and in the top 5 worldwide) is the LSE. If you are getting an MBA the LBS doesn't even make the top 15 worldwide and isn't the best in Europe.
Message: Though I entirely agree with you regarding the quality of MSc at LSE, I think you should try to learn more about MBA programmes. LBS is in the Top10 worldwide and is the best MBA in Europe. Recruiting-wise, you can get associate positions at all top i-banks and strategy firms.
