I graduated from the LSE and I think that if I had to do it over again I would go to LBS.
LSE has a great reputation but very little street value in the city unless you get into the Msc in Economics or Finance. Even then, I had friends in these programs who graduated and had a tough time finding associate positions in investment banking. The I-banks tend to put the M.Sc. people in an analyst position for a year and then graduate them into an associate position. This is not what you want.
My advice to you is to try to get into the MBA program at LBS. Failing that, try their M.Sc. in Finance.
