I can hopefully add some more encouragement here. Most top schools are desperate for qualified minority applicants! If you are qualified, you'll be a shoe-in to get into any of the top ten programs.
You'll also be hotly pursued by the top recruiters if you are a minority. Why? because there just aren't many of you represented, and these institutions want to better represent society.
Do something interesting for the next 4 years and apply. You'll probably get into Harvard or Wharton, and end up at GS or McKinsey.
So relax and have fun, because I assume all the schools will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

I understand most of your comments. However, I really don't appreciate how you seem to take advantage of the fact that certain groups are not well represented in schools and get special treatment for admissions.
I know it is a common practise to admit depending on diversity and quota, but I feel that others that might have been qualified to enter a top program and have better opportunities in life are being robbed of their chances.
(I am not writing this because I dislike a race group, but because I value fairness)
