I'm curious about IMD too.
I know it has a good reputation, but it seems to
cater to a niche crowd, (older too). Not the type
of people who typically look for I-banking or MC jobs
right?

I believe that the majority of students are senior level managers already, and look to move into top levels of the corporate world. A large number of the students are also sponsored by their companies.
I think I recall that some percentage does move into consulting, but I doubt that many go into i-banking.
LBS/INSEAD are the more traditional b-schools, with a much younger student base.
