In Reply To: I'm an undergraduate finishing in May with a BS in accounting. I took the GMAT and received a 700. My GPA over the last sixty hours is 3.98. I didn't intern last summer due to back surgery. So, should I go for a masters in accountancy(MAC) or MBA. And yes, I know that I've missed the deadlines for most "top" schools(not that they'd consider me without the work experience). The MBA programs that I'm thinking of applying to include:Georgia Tech, Tulane, Illinois, Penn St. I want to end up(in 5-7 years) in I-Banking and want to know how buldge-bracket firms look at big five previous background. Thanks in advance and feel free to tear my thoughts apart. I handle constructive criticism well.
Message: No use of doing MAC. Go for an MBA at one of the schools you applied.
