Thanks for the advice. I am leaning toward the high tech company, however, one additional concern I have is that I may not get to work on the strategic planning side in as plum a position as was originally represented. I have noticed that in the past month, several management/executive level employees have been hired with significant experience and impressive resumes. It concerns me that by the time I'm ready to help on the operations side, I won't have the opportunity to step up to bat, because of lack of experience. I absolutely do not mind doing the initial grunt work that they need in terms of cleaning up some of their accounting issues, but I definitely want to make sure that I will get to eventually do challenging projects on the operations planning side. I would hate to leave the big 5 for a glorified AP clerk position. If you have any tips on how I can make sure to do what I want to do, I'd love to see them.
Also, I think my firm may be onto me as they have given me senior level responsibility where I will be running my own job and supervising a team of staff for my next engagement. This is definitely a test, and more responsibility is to follow if I succeed and ask for it.
Well, thanks again for your help.
