In Reply To: Look, all this going on and on about Harvard/Wharton/Stanford/MIT is just bull shit. The real money is in the E economy today. The schools for that are Stanford (based on proximity) and Haas. I can at least understand your confusion about HBS or maybe MIT being okay schools for that, but Columbia? Chicago? Kellog? What are you stupid? Haas is right there in the Bay Area, well just across the Bay. We get access to all sorts of stuff. Did you know that the business plan for Inktomi was written by a Haas student while he was at Haas? I was accepted to HBS and MIT and I chose to go to Haas because of the technology bent. You guys who think you're going to go to wall street and make more money then me are just deluding yourself, you stupid MFs. I'm not trolling for trouble here, but I've had a couple of drinks (of good CA wine, do they even make wine in Boston?) and I just can't stand to see all this East Coast megalimania anyore.
Message: Haas has a solid program and terrific location, especially if you're part of the masses going to high-tech. "Top two," needless to say, is a bit laughable (and I don't mean that in a nasty way). As great a program as it is, I don't think many Haas people would support that particular claim. Also, to tell you the truth, you didn't do your school many favors writing a post like that. The H/W/S thing might be annoying, but so is your pettiness. Don't be so sensitive. By the way, you spelled Kellogg wrong. (You got MIT right, though -- congrats.)
