about the 4.5. Its not good but B-schools look closely at your essays and will be able to tell that you're a good writer.
Korea will not hurt your chances; it would almost certainly help.
Choosing between Salomon and McKinsey depends on what you want to do really but since you posted the message, I guess what you really care about is getting into B-school. McKinsey is better than Salomon for sure in that regard. Only thing better possibly is GS or MSDW (if you're in the right groups).
Congrats on getting both jobs, that's impressive. McKinsey is definently your best bet though. Call people at both firms and ask what their records are on getting into the top b-schools, if you still can't decide.
