I chose MiF and not MBA because:
1.) pure finance degree (i.e. no BS subjects like marketing, business ethics, org behavior...)
2.) very good reputation for London city (investment banking)
3.) one year (i.e. time value of money...)
According to FT LBS is currently ranked no. 8 worldwide (for the MBA) but it's the only global Top 10 BS offering a MiF program (others are Berkeley, Princeton and Carnegie M.). In the US, LBS is probaly most comparable to Columbia - financial center, banking contacts etc. (but less brand recognition in US than europe) |
