I'm debating whether to apply for medical school or my MBA? Yes, I'm trying to make the most money that I can in the shortest period of time.
And before everyone tells me how my priorities are screwed up, I agree with you. I love money and I'm messed up for thinking that way. Nonetheless, I have accepted me for who I am.
With medicine, you are guaranteed a position after graduation with job security and a steady 6 figure salary. The drawback to medicine is that you will be poor for 8 years.
I don't want to hear from those who will tell me that a managing director with an investment bank or a consulting firm earns more than doctors. They do but the chances of that happening are next to 0.
Are there other business jobs aside from IB and Consulting that earn well into the 6 figures that are somewhat realistic to attain?
Any advice aside from telling me to go to hell is greatly appreciated. :-)~.
