I currently work for a top high tech company that generously pays for educational expenses. I am debating whether I should obtain an MS in MIS from a low tier school or an MBA from a top 40 school. I am a IT professional with 5 years of experience. Which one do you think is most advantageous in the IT career? MS in MIS Or MBA?

The MIS degree will get you shit. The MBA will get good shit if that's where you want to spend your dough. Use the MBA to get you out of MIS although such a top 40 school is pretty damn close to a waste of time. Still it will prbably help you feel better about yourself.
