I'm the original poster.
Did you go to UCLA? Current student? Are you in IB?
How is it a better school?
Do students have a problem getting IB positions outside of CA.? (NYC or Chicago)
What kind of stats do you need
to get in?

yeah i am a UCLA grad.
And I was being a troll. NYU is a good school. I had to chose between NYU paid for or paying for UCLA myself and I chose UCLA.
Most people going into banking at UCLA end up in New York. We send about 100 people into financial services, all the major BB are well represented. About 10 or 20 go to San Fran, a handful stay in LA the rest head to Goldman, Merrill, Bear, SSB, and JP Morgan. A sprinkle at CSFB. The rest go to the buy side.
I personally was more impresssed with UCLA folks than NYU when I visited both schools
