I am considering whether or not to get an MBA. First a little background: I have been in the workforce since graduating in 1982 and hold an upper managment position with a Fortune 500 company and I have worked for this company for 12 years. Promotions have come pretty frequently (on average every 3 years) and I am currently responsible for running a $35M group of businesses for my company. My position is a leadership role and very general --I use HR, Finance, Accounting, Management and Legal skills on a very frequent basis.
So the big question: would I benefit from an MBA at this point in my career? If so, how?
I am in the Cincinnati area so I would consider going to Xavier since I would continue to work. TIA
