What is the deal with this ranking? Why is it that Business Week has so different results that other (arguably as reputed if not most) sources?
How come HBS is number 1 indisputedly in Forbes, Financial Times and US News and for business week it is third, behind Wharton and Kellog (who cannot even make it to top ten for Forbes)? I cannot make up my mind to take Business Week seriously, when Stanford is not ranked as a top ten. I mean, would someone REALLY pick Kellog, Duke, Michigan or Darden over Stanford???!!!
I know that they employ different methodologies, that is not the answer I am seeking. The issue is that the info, taken as a whole, seems to be missleading, or tendentious at the very least. Any thoughts? |

Everyone talks about the top business schools in Business Week and assumes that is where they get the biggest bang for their money. I agree that Rutgers, although it is Ranked in Business Week, doesnt have the reputation of Havard or Columbia. However, If you have the right package, Rutgers is one hell of an investment value. I am getting my MBA at about 1/6th the total cost of top MBA programs and yet I managed to get a starting pay package in the 6 figures. Make sure you are picking a school for more than its name
