I understand that the Ad com always looks for diversity. The belly dancing could be a winner. I had a friend who got into HBS with a 385 GMAT, only b'cos he knew an obscure maori dialect and could hear high frequency noises that ordinary humans can't. I would say u'r a strong candidate. |

I too think you have a solid chance of getting in - apparently in an effort to broaden their class diversity, the top programs (H/S/W,etc.) are accepting any people with freakish, bizarre backgrounds. My buddy (0.5 GPA U of New Mexico, 240 GMAT, ex-circus juggler/carney, 2.5 yrs. as dental hygienist and 1 yr as big-city bus driver) got into Wharton for finance. I couldn't belly dance though. Just stay optimistic and don't succumb to The Man.
