When you request that your scores be sent to a school, they receive the last three that you have taken in the last five years. It is up to the school to decide which one that will take - average, highest, lowest, or most recent, etc.. Chicago does not receive just the highest - they receive the three and simply chose to use the highest - I know this for a fact (Tim Carter is their director of addmissions and a friend). Kellogg does the same thing. However it is interesting to point out that both of these schools told me that if they see someone get a 650 to 700 hundred they really have to question why they person whould retake the test. Remember it takes more than a good gmat to get into these programs. Both schools reject over half of the people who get a perfect 800 on the test. Tells you something doesn't it.
