I guess lawyers don't even learn the basics of a present value? What's the upside?
Also, bear in mind people are making decisions on $$$ alone. I'd rather stick an ice pick in my ear than do patent law, but I'm glad some people want to do it.
I think your ##s for regional firms are high, but you're right the national firms have recently upped their $$. That's in response to the options paid out at .coms. Guess who else is getting a lot of those options: b-school students. |
