There are plenty of very good schools outside of the "top ten". Consider schools like Univ. of Pittsburgh, U of MD, UNC, Purdue, and even Penn State among your good options. I went to UMD and while none of my classmates ended up at McKinsey or BCG, (a couple did go to Goldman Sachs) many went on to get great jobs and nice salaries (85K+signing bonus and better). Plus many of the schools will give you a great return on your investment as you will have the option of going part-time if you want and certainly spending less money. |

Speaking of UMD, how is the finance and IT program there? I heard from a couple of friends that it is an overall good program. But I want to hear from somebody who actually went there. Thanks.
